Devotionals

Everyday, as I’m learning from the Lord and spending time with Him, I’m going share it with you guys here so you can use it if you need direction or daily time in the Word, like I do. You can make them weekly, daily, monthly, whatever! As long as it’s a tool to help with your discipleship! (Tip: It’s best to pick a Book in the Bible, discover when in the day works best for you, and go through it, however much you want to read each day. Morning is the best time, but some people don’t work that way.)

  • Devotional Thought 1: Radical Sacrifice
It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35) So there I am, four in the morning, barely alive, but ready to dig in to what the Lord wanted to show me for the day. The night before, I had … Read more
  • Devotional Thought 2: The Internal War

  • Devotional Thought 3: Failure to Forgiven
How many times do we find ourselves denying Jesus, either in our words with other people, or by our actions when we stumble in sin?
  • Devotional Thought 4: Light-Walkers
For most people, the darkness is a place where things can be hidden and concealed, where we don't have to face the reality of how things really are. But our God has called us to be light!
  • Devotional Thought 5: Consolation Over Frustration
And in that day you will say: “O Lord , I will praise You; though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For … Read more

  • Devotional Thought 9: Every Knee
In many of the letters in the New Testament, the apostles call themselves 'servants' or "bondservants" of Jesus Christ. The Greek word is "doulos", and it literally means slave; they were calling themselves slaves of Jesus! For many of us today, that … Read more
  • Devotional Thought 10: Chain Link Love

  • Devotional Thought 12: Behind Enemy Lines
Sometimes, loving our enemies won't look as drastic as forgiving someone as they murder you, or even something like blessing someone who's insulting you. Jesus, even as a kid, shows us that loving our enemies can just look like taking the time … Read more
  • Guest Devotional: Mightier Than the Sword
For some, it seems to be their default to accuse, belittle, manipulate, insult, or condemn others. This is the complete opposite of a follower of Christ. When you speak, can people tell by your words that you are a follower of Christ?

  • Devotional Thought 22: Life To The Full
Maybe, just maybe, the abundant life that comes through Jesus can only be truly appreciated and sought after by those who realize how desperately they need it, and how little they deserve it. Only they experience life to the full.
  • Devotional Thought 23: Abundance

  • Devotional Thought 31: Destitute
We should pray for the Lord to reconfigure our focus towards proclaiming good news to the poor, freedom for the captives, and sight for the blind. It's only good news to those who need it!
