God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. (1 Peter 4:10)
In order to bless and build up His Church, the Lord Jesus has given every single one of His followers spiritual gifts to be used for the benefit of others! He’s the One who chooses the gifts He gives, but He encourages us to pray for and desire the best gifts, like prophecy. Everyone in Christ has a unique blend of gifts and a calling to use them for the good of the Body! These gifts are actually the different abilities and powers Christ Himself has, that He gives to us in different measures for us to use in being His hands and feet on Earth.
